Class Descriptions and Levels Defined

Flow and Restore ~ All Levels

This begins with a down tempo flow that will warm the body and then ease into a gentle meditative restorative practice that uses props to fully support the body in each pose.

Foundation Flow ~ Level 1

This class is suitable for all levels. The classes generally begin with Sun Salutations and progress with sequences building strength and flexibility in a slower moving flow, where postures are generally held longer. The focus is on moving  with breath control, awareness and alignment.

Vinyasa Flow to Soothe the Soul ~Level 1-2

A creative vinyasa offering for body mind and soul. In this class, space is held for practitioners to feel the seat of empowerment by way of various non-prescriptive, enlivening sensory techniques. Includes challenging flow, alignment, philisophical inspiration and relaxation. Expand your ability to “see” aspects of life and bathe in the possibilities.

Kids yoga ~First Grade thru 7th Grade

This fun dynamic children’s class will teach your young yogi all types of poses, games and breathing exercises and more! Give your kids a way to de-stress and blow off steam.

Core Centric ~ All Levels

In this  dynamic 75 min. Class we will focus on alignment, core strength and breath to open and release those tight areas and strengthen our core line.

Twilight Sadhana ~ All Levels

As you move into the twilight of your day as well as your week, this 75 min. down tempo class will bring you back to center with contemplative flow interlaced with restorative movement.

Vinyasa Flow – All Levels

Roll out your mat and enjoy an energetic all levels vinyasa flow class! This class is suitable for students of all levels.Modifications will be offered for Level 1 students. Expect to find an awareness of your breath, and to open both your body and heart

Yoga on balls  ~LEVEL 1-2

Yoga on balls is a unique 60 minute class that combines traditional yoga poses with a stability ball. Resulting in increased stability, strength and balance.  This class will change your practice!

Yin Yang Flow ~ Level 1-2

This class is a dance between our solar and lunar polarities.Offering a nurturing balance for your mind and body. This is an all levels class. Appropriate for beginners who enjoy a wisp of a challenge.

Hatha Blend ~Level 1-2

In this class poses will flow from one to another in conjunction with your breath. This class will create strength, freedom and flexibility in the body and the mind.

FoundationAL Flow  ~Level 1

This class is recommended for brand new students, or anyone wanting to methodically paced class. Principles of proper alignment, breathing and mindfulness are taught in elemental versions of basic poses. This class is a wonderful way for more experienced students to get a “yoga tune-up” and go deeper into the foundation poses.

Class Levels Defined

How far are you on your yoga journey? Use this guide to see which class level is right for you. As always, safety first: be sure to consult your doctor before beginning this or any other exercise program.

Level 1 – Beginner

Level 1 classes are designed for those who have had no previous exposure to yoga, but are eager to learn and start experiencing the amazing benefits of a yoga practice. The beginner student needs slow-paced direction and a great level of detail so they can become familiar with basic yoga poses and use of the breath.

Level 2 – Experienced Beginner

Level 2 classes are designed for those who have a good understanding of the basic yoga postures, and have begun to explore a wider variety of poses and styles. The intermediate student understands the relationship between breath and movement.

All Levels

Come as you are! All Levels classes are suitable for beginners, masters and everyone in between. These classes offer modifications so that you can customize your class to fit your specific needs and level of expertise.
